When I first contacted Adrian at Matava I just knew it was all good. I have been to Fiji on 9 seperate occasions, one of them I came back married, but that's another story. I don't hide the fact that I love the place, the people and the culture. Fiji at best, is warm, welcoming and exciting, at worst a fantastic holiday, so you can't lose. From Backpacker Style accomodation in the Mid 80's to 5 Star at the Outrigger Reef on our last trip. ( I took the kids, Girls, what can I say, it had to be good)

I know where I will be staying on my next trip, because for all the things Fiji is, and for all the potential the water holds for fishermen, unless you travel to Fiji with a clearly planned fishing itinerary you will do as I have done on a few occasions, and that is trying to get a friendly local to take you out or trying to organise a fishing trip from your hotel or resort. Take my word for it, not the easiest thing to do.

What Matava presents is some of the "Fishiest" water on earth, wonderful hosts in Adrian and Richard, and state of the art fishing equipment that caters for all angling styles, from chasing Wahoo on light tackle, switch baiting for Marlin, Popper casting, reef Fishing, Deep Water Jigging, and the list goes on. Sounds very expensive doesn't it, and it would be if you were applying the same cost these activiites would set you back at home. take my word for it Matava presents the opportunity for world Class Fishing, absolutely fantastic accomodation and a typical wonderfully warm Fijian welcome.
