The trip to Shady Camp was good, with plenty of fresh water coming over tha barrage. The Barrage stops saltwater intrusion into the wet lands, and at this time of year it is the best time to fish for Barra up here. Unfortunately the runoff doesnt last long. There are plenty of locals there as one of the pics shows.

At a guess that bloke waiting for a feed is 18feet long and one of the best fishermen I know. The good news is the 75cm Barra I caught on the Lurestreet Assail 150. Went back out this morning but the fishing gods were against us. The last pic is of the Boat Ramp at Shady Camp, nothing but the best for the fishermen up here. So the next time you blokes go to launch your boat on the East Coast just give a thought to us blokes up here, and the high quality ramps we use. Cheers Royce.
