Palmfishing's first shipment of clear poppers, built to our own specifications have arrived.

These 50mm poppers have already accounted for Bass, Bream, Trevally and Whiting in Australia. The beauty of these guys is they are clear plastic and can be used straight from the pack, with the addition of your own rings and trebles. Fantastic quality DIY Lures. 

You can paint the poppers as simply, or as professionally as you wish, customising them for fish in your local area. Each pack comes with sets of eyes unattached to make the painting process easier. Eyes can be attached when the painting is done and you can finish with your choice of rings and hooks.

I went over the top and sat for a bloody hour painting in fine detail  with a magnfying glass on a stand. in blues and greens, with red around the gills and all that stuff.... the clear ones worked as well or BETTER!  just a sealing coat of clear/pearl did the job... I`ve never thought of whiting as a surface striker, that`s what you get from using bait and sinkers all these years I `spose.. I was actually fishing for bream when the whiting started assaulting these poppers..and it`s great fun..
