Big Wills Bass PDF Print E-mail

Early morning fish at Wivenhoe Dam, end of April. Had been fishing deep water all morning ranging from 40ft to 70ft. Heading back to the boat ramp after catching a few Catfish at Platypus Cliffs. came out of some deep water around 50ft up to 10ft, trolling shallow diving lures along the edges of the deep. I thought it would be a great chance to try the GOBLIN. After casting it up on to the shallows and finding a good trolling speed, all I heard was a screaming reel and thought I had snagged a stump but to my fishing partners disbelief it was a large 2kg plus Bass. Thanks for the GOBLIN, it's a great lure, and works a treat as it was the only Bass for the morning. Apologies for the lure not being in the fishes mouth as I was excited and wanted a quick release of the fish.
